Medical Management of Acne

As a Nurse Practitioner led clinic, we can assist with the management of acne, including hormonal, comedonal, cystic, inflammatory acne as well as body acne (chest, back, buttocks). A thorough consultation and assessment is completed, including blood tests (if required) to assess for potential health conditions that might contribute to the causes of acne. Our practitioners will assess your skin concerns and create a personalised treatment plan (which may include topical and/or oral medications). We can assist with the management of acute acne breakouts, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), acne scar management and home care strategies.

Medicare rebate may apply for initial health assessments booked via the health and wellness side of our clinic.

Please note that only a Dermatologist can currently prescribe Isotretinoin in Australia.
